I am a mental health counselor who works with young adults and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, tough transitions, and trauma. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic, Adlerian, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy into our sessions.
My philosophy is that clients are collaborative in their treatment. While I have a major role and will not be passive in treatment, I acknowledge that clients have expertise in their own right. I know that for a lot of people, starting to attend therapy is tough. There is a lot of power in having a space to open up and I hope I can provide that space.
