In the meantime, here is a little about my work with clients.
I have been in practice since 1997. As a professional clinical counselor, I have helped many people find answers and improve their quality of life. My clients describe me as caring and compassionate but also straightforward and action oriented. I help people find and accentuate their strengths while letting them decide what is best for them. I also work a lot with anxiety and trauma and am trained in EMDR.
My goal is to help people improve their lives. You and I will work collaboratively, finding the answers together. Maybe it's improving communication, learning to say no, or overcoming fears. Maybe you are seeking to find your identity or express your identity to others. My approach involves finding meaning, focusing on the present and future.
I know how difficult it is to reach out for help, to disclose intimate details of yourself to a stranger. We will take things at your pace as you become comfortable sharing. Your privacy is important to me - I provide a safe, confidential environment in which to build our relationship and allow you to express your concerns. I look forward to helping you.
