I primarily work with kids, teenagers and younger adults to help them navigate the challenges that life may present them with. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have worked with individuals and families around managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, school challenges, peer/relationship difficulties, family conflict, and transitional phases of life.
Prior to this, I worked in community mental health and worked as a school based counselor. I believe those experiences have helped shaped my work today and allows me to have a unique perspective on the systemic barriers that can impact people's abilities to reach their goals.
My work involves mixing components of traditional talk therapy with CBT skills, DBT skills, solution focused work, and art therapy techniques.
I bring a warm and compassionate voice to therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are at while also helping them push past what they might think they are capable of. I am direct but validating and I try to bring a sense of humor and creativity to the room where I can.
