About
Many people struggle with stress, worries, life changes, or relationship difficulties, but don't have to the skills or support needed to handle them in a healthy way. Counseling is simply a time for personal reflection with a professional who can help guide you towards positive growth and change. During counseling sessions, I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment, providing you the insight and awareness needed to move forward, instead of feeling stuck or helpless. You don't have to go through life's difficult situations alone!
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of issues including self-esteem, behavioral challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Using a warm, humorous, nonjudgmental, and empathetic style, we'll work together to figure out how you can become your best self.
Every client is different, so I take the time to get to know who you really are, listen to you, and understand your concerns. I offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends. I also offer free 15 minute phone consultations to learn more about you and answer any questions you may have to see if we'd be a good fit.

The Resilient Teacher
New teachers in high-needs schools need access to mental health clinicians that understand the unique stressors of working in an urban education setting; The Resilient Teacher accomplishes this by providing teachers access to high quality, short term mental health and support services that understand the unique needs, schedules, and stressors of having the hardest (and best) job in the world. The program provides teachers with specialized interventions that include short-term individual and group counseling purposefully designed to accommodate a teacher's busy schedule and address specific stressors that arise from working in a school.
