| Español I work with adults and young adults to help them understand the impact of their thoughts, feelings, and actions on their wellbeing. I offer an active and empowering space to navigate issues such as anxiety, low mood, family conflict, identity confusion, and cultural transitions. I also provide therapy/coaching for work and school-related stress, low motivation, attention difficulties, and time management. People working with me will learn how their life experiences affect their ability to cope with challenges effectively.
Identifying as Ecuadorian-American, I am bilingual and bicultural. I have also lived abroad; these experiences and my identity as a woman of color working in several professional settings fuel my empathy for people navigating cultural/social pressures at home, work, and school. I fuse therapy with advocacy alongside people who feel silenced and marginalized.
I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University and my doctoral internship at the University of California, Berkeley. I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Iowa State University. I am board certified in Counseling Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
