Relationships never start off difficult. Disappointment, pain, betrayal, distance, emotional shut-off are all among the myriad reasons they become difficult. Often times the distance between two people can feel insurmountable. By this time, the sparks of discontent have become a fiery inferno and the help of a professional is invaluable in the process of healing and reconciliation.
I am passionate about helping people who have experienced pain that seems difficult to heal find the healing that has seemed so elusive. I use a variety of models to accomplish this including Gottman, Structural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Sensorimotor and psychodrama/psychodynamic therapies. I taylor treatment to the needs of the client(s).
