Behavioral strategies can be helpful, but often do not heal core wounds or understand core needs. This is why behavior returns, in similar or different patterns. Understanding the roots help us understand our true needs, which can then allow us to grow and heal distressful strategies that often lead to getting in our way of growth. Deep connection, trauma informed work can help us identify old patterns that keep us stuck in parts of ourselves that we have outgrown.

My personal focus is helping kids, teens and parents communicate and connect. Our little humans are a part of a bigger family system. All behavior is communication and by understanding where it comes from, we can understand the core needs to help facilitate true belonging. I am telehealth only.

At The Wright Counseling, we see individuals in person and online, across the lifespan looking for deeper connection to themselves and those around them.
