My passion lies in helping those who seek calm to find it. My clients typically come to me with anxiety, self-doubt, feelings of being overwhelmed, at times socially isolating. They want to feel better, sleep better, be fulfilled and connected but find themselves with busy minds, an inability to relax, and strained interactions. I offer listening to understand, nurturance to support self-compassion, and exploration of the root of the emotional distress. It is often times the result of chronic trauma, disappointing relationships, and a tendency towards perfectionism.
I specialize in treating clients with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma. I am interactive and client focused in an effort to empower my clients to be reflective and begin to identify the solutions that exist and work best for them. I utilize a broad range of treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and PE.
I hope I can provide you a place of connection, healing, and security as you engage in psychotherapy. I believe growth and self-awareness in therapy comes first from the relationship we build and then from the goals we set and work towards together.
