In therapy, we will create a safe space to explore deep issues while fostering your unique needs for growth and self-acceptance. I am warm, active and open-minded. I enjoy working with adults who seek to improve their relationships with themselves and others. You may feel empty, anxious, depressed, or have issues communicating needs and boundaries. Maybe you are struggling to cope with changes in your life or suffering from troubling experiences in the past. I specialize in helping people work through life transitions, manage anxiety, have intimacy and relationship issues, and explore their identity/sexuality.
I view psychological symptoms as deeper issues that need to be talked through in therapy. We will work to enhance insight into harmful patterns/behaviors so you’ll be confident to tackle these issues in stride. I tailor my approach using Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness techniques.
Therapy can feel like growing pains, but you don’t have to do it alone. I believe that the therapeutic relationship we form can offer you new perspectives and teach you how to relate more positively with the world and others. I understand the challenges with being vulnerable. I am open to hearing you and interested in figuring out how I may help.
