My name is Stéphane Cohen, LPC. Building a supportive relationship is key to my approach to therapy. Once we establish a strong alliance, I want my clients to feel accepted and feel safe to talk about anything on their minds or that they are going through or have gone through. I want them to know that I am here to support them on their journeys of self-discovery. I use a person-centered strength-based approach combined with solution focused therapy.
I work with Clients that have codependency issues. Relationship difficulties. Family conflicts. Clients that struggle to take care of themselves in relationships and tend to lose themselves in intimate relationships. Clients that are affected by a family member's or a spouse's addiction. Clients going through separations.
I encourage clients to take good care of themselves (physically, emotionally, spiritually) and to focus on putting good things in their lives (such as: hobbies, friendships, a career they enjoy, fun, adventures, sports, nature).
