As a counselor, I believe in empathy and open-minded approaches that are receptive to situational changes. I believe individuals best overcome negative changes through the support of secondary sources, and people need both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to thrive.
My goal is to create a safe environment where clients feel they can openly speak, without the fear of judgement, so that whole ideas can emerge. I provide tools for clients to overcome personal battles and become their own agent of change.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, millennials and couples. I am trained in Gottman Couples Therapy and believe that when couples are given a chance to understand and respond in empathy to their partner that healing can occur. We work together to strengthen communication, learn to thrive in conflict, and be intentional in our love language.
