Sometimes we carry those burdens an entire lifetime, somehow believing that we are “too much” or “not enough”, and that we have no safe space to share and unravel our stories. I’m here to remind you that your past and your experiences are not who you ARE. You are not “wrong”, broken, or wounded beyond repair. I'm here to be a fiercely loving space-holder for your unique wisdom to reveal itself and to remind you that you have an immense capacity to heal and transform.
I'm a person-centered, trauma-focused therapist and believe that YOU are the expert on your life. I enjoy incorporating innovative and non-traditional approaches into the healing process and have found that somatic work and the integration of adjunctive body-based approaches alongside the trauma healing framework provides a deeply supportive process.
I believe in your ability to heal, and as a therapist I offer a space of love and acceptance balanced with the capacity to see where being challenged sometimes is required for transformation to occur.
