I believe that each person has a unique story and I stay curious as to what that is. I am a specialist in EMDR, and in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I trust in the power of attunement to my clients; by creating a safe space for clients to be heard and able to express their stories, powerful changes can occur. I love being able to dig deeper into the layers of client's experiences and help them understand the patterns. I interweave my love of Attachment, EMDR, EFT and Polyvagal Theory into my practice. I see the world through a Christian lens, but hope to create a non-judgemental, open and loving space for all.
My love of relationships draws me to work with teens through elderly- either individuals, families and couples. I feel called to hold space for those suffering from the wounds of attachment. This may present with feelings of anxiety, depression, deep hurt or disconnection. I love using EMDR as a tool, but my lens is Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I've opened a practice in Gig Harbor called Compassion Wellness Center, because all healing begins with Compassion. This space was designed to feel like home, provide privacy, and so many nurturing Therapists. My love of Therapy and integrative care created a space that is inviting and comfortable. We offer Therapy, Massage, IV Drip Therapy and Aesthetics.
