I specialize in helping people improve their relationship to one's self as well as one's loved ones. Symptoms such as depression or anxiety, or feelings of shame, can interfere with these connections. Our psyches naturally want to move towards health and growth yet we can get stuck or hopeless that relief is possible. I believe in the values of self-growth, self-acceptance and self-reliance. Given that many trauma feelings were created in relationship, I believe we all need a trusting relationship to heal. If I'm that person for you, I will take that role very seriously and work hard for your hopes, needs, healing, and growth.
I want to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients, but also one that is highly productive and effective. I understand that therapy requires a big investment in time and resources.
