I provide a non-judgmental place to process those feelings.
I use evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Meditation, and Art Therapy. These strategies can reduce stress, enhance self-awareness, promote emotional balance, and create ways to express those hard-to-reach emotions.
Children also need unique support during this time, and I provide age-appropriate education about addiction along with coping strategies.
