I am a highly skilled, warm and trustworthy therapist passionate about supporting and enhancing the quality of individuals' lives. Whether you or your teens are experiencing depression or anxiety, feeling ambivalent about a current relationship, or living with a child who has Asperger's, together we will work to develop realistic goals, sensible solutions and a greater sense of confidence toward handling life's inevitable challenges. For the past 20+ years I have worked well with individuals, couples and families to resolve problems that stem from current daily life stressors to past dysfunctional family experiences;
from single adults who desire to raise children by themselves to step families and/or divorced parents striving to enhance communication and closeness between one another; and from individuals struggling with their own alcohol/drug use, to the friends and family that love and care about them.
My experience working with diverse cultures and people of various backgrounds helps to create a sense of trust and confidence in the counseling relationship. I have a strong background in short term brief counseling as well as in long term counseling. I offer evening and Saturday appointment availability.
