Emotions can be challenging! You don't need to ride a roller coaster or have emotions run your life. You really don't. Together, we can identify the causes of whatever anxiety, depression, stress, relationship or sexual issues you're facing, and work to resolve them. What our work together could look like is that we identify what Internal Family Systems and IFS Therapy refer to as the parts of your personality. Believe it or not, even when they lead to experiences that may seem negative – self-sabotaging behaviors, fear, procrastination, relationship issues – each part or aspect of you is actually trying to help get a need met.
Once we consciously engage with the parts of ourselves that cause us the most difficulties – when we bring those parts' fears and concerns into the open – and help them relate to each other harmoniously, internal conflict subsides, real healing occurs and you're free to be yourself. This is the very realistic goal of the work I offer.
I utilize a variety of modalities, including Buddhist teachings and practices, IFS/Parts Work, Breath/Somatic, Mindfulness, Diamond Approach and EMDR to experience authentic healing. I also specialize in LGBTQ, poly and open relationship issues. If you're curious to learn more, please contact me.
