About
Hello! I work with people seeking to improve their relationships, explore & clarify life direction & purpose, develop healthier habits, and process grief & trauma. Presently (Spring 2022). I meet with clients outdoors on properties in Weaverville and Fairview for psychotherapy, and at a cabin in West Asheville and the offices of Concierge Medicine & Psychiatry for Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy with Ketamine. In addition, I do work with clients to help integrate experiences from altered states of consciousness work done in other contexts on their own time.
The focus of our work together is on your needs through our ever-developing therapeutic relationship. Sometimes we will engage through experiential approaches from Gestalt Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Working with people in nature is one of my passions, and I've worked in mental health in the outdoors since 2008. As a therapist I tend to be transparent about myself in our process together. My background in astrology, tarot, herbalism and environmental social activism can come through in my work, in a grounded way.
