Everyone of us has a story that is filled with beauty and hurt. How do we hold the hope and pain of our own lives? How do we navigate the grief, desire, and ambivalence that lives in us and in our relationships? How can we honor and understand our own anxieties? It's my desire to join clients in understanding their own story - past, present, and future - to identify the places in which hope has been shattered, how it has been sought, and consider the way of restoration.
I would love to help you gain a quality of awareness in your life that enables you to make sense of your own experiences, relationships, and life patterns in order to move toward wholeness. I work from an attachment based, developmentally informed, and trauma aware lens that is primarily story driven. Where indicated I use EMDR as a way to reprocess trauma.
