Hi, my name is Stacy Vollands, and I would love to meet you! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Minnesota as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I specialize in Eating Disorders, Body Image, Trauma, Perfectionism, Anxiety, Depression, and OCD. I have also achieved the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist distinction and have experience in outpatient, virtual intensive outpatient, and IDP/PHP levels of care for eating disorders. I love encouraging others to find hope, health, and wholeness, as well as lifelong recovery.
I use therapies such as DBT, CBT, ERP, ACT, and EFFT. I am also an EMDR-trained therapist. Although I work with clients with a variety of spiritual beliefs and practices, I do have specific training and experience in integrating Christian beliefs and practices through BIblical Counseling for clients who desire this.
I approach therapy from a stance of compassion and curiosity. I have the ability to listen carefully, without judgment, and offer kindness and unconditional positive regard and support to my clients as we work together through their negative core beliefs and trauma that may be causing pain and holding them back from living an abundant life.
