Dr. Popkin is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who treats children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Popkin specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Dr. Popkin believes it is essential to initiate treatment with a thorough bio-psycho-social evaluation and a collaborative plan that engages the patient and family (when applicable) to participate in the overall treatment plan.
Dr. Popkin’s approach is based on getting to know her patients and developing an understanding of that individual in relation to their environment. Her goal is to work as collaboratively as possible with patients and provide a safe space for them to develop effective and healthy coping skills in order to make positive, constructive, and meaningful change.
