Are you feeling overwhelmed? Is diabetes running your life? Are you looking for ways to be happy? Is stress or worry driving you to do things you wouldn't normally do? Chronic illness, stress, constant worry, transitions, loss, and trying to do everything right can be really frustrating and difficult. There is hope for healing and skills to manage your life and find wellness. Therapy is a collaborative process where you can heal, explore, grow and change in a non-judgmental environment. Together we can find coping skills that work for your life and get on track with taking care of yourself even when you don't feel like it.
I specialize in working with people who have diabetes and young adults. I focus on wellness and healing at the root cause of a concern. I also have special training on integrating the mind-body connection, and mindfulness into therapy at a deeper level and can find creative ways to work mindfulness into your busy schedule.
I have two locations: downtown Charleston, within walking distance to the College of Charleston, and Mount Pleasant. Parking is provided at both location. Evening appointments are available. Visit my website to learn more and together we can find ways to manage your diabetes and your life, instead of letting it manage you!
