I am licensed in the state of Texas and have worked in the mental health field for 10 years. Some of my experience includes working in a behavioral health residential treatment center, a domestic violence shelter, an outpatient community mental health clinic, the juvenile justice center, in a school setting, and private practice.
I’ve worked with a diverse group of people, children, teenagers, adults, men, women, couples, stepparents, grandparents, active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. My time in the military gave me invaluable insight into understanding different worldviews, communication styles, and coping mechanisms, which directly influences my approach.
