About
Life may seem to be asking more of you than you have to give currently. Reaching out is nurturing. Counseling (behavior health) is an aspect of healthy living that can help restore balance and grounding. The process can be exhilarating, challenging, and profoundly rewarding as you gain clarity through increased awareness. Respecting the sensitive nature of therapy, I offer a user-friendly atmosphere that's welcoming and supportive. I actively engage in session focusing on you and your needs. Together we identify stressors, potential blocks, stuck points, and develop inner skills which are key for mental harmony and transformation.
As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I carefully examine the relationships between thoughts, feelings and actions, while looking for barriers, patterns and themes. Word choice matters. The concept behind CBT is that our thoughts affect how we feel (emotionally & physically), how we behave and relate. They shape our perceptions, beliefs and value systems.
25 years in the field of mental health counseling and I remain passionate about my work and dedication to helping people better understand themselves, relationships, and find a sense of balance as they live more fulfilling lives. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Board Certified Life Coach.
