About
Many of us go through a process of hoping for change, personal growth or, perhaps, acceptance within ourselves. I'm here to walk that journey with you and help you reach realistic goals to positively impact your daily life. I believe that establishing rapport between a client and therapist is the foundation in providing the best outcome for change. You'll find that my therapeutic approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, and transparent while also incorporating a bit of light-heartedness. I work with a wide variety of clients with specialty populations that include healthcare workers, first responders, and sexual assault survivors.
I have extensive experience treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety; although I use a variety of treatment modalities, I primarily practice evidence-based treatment. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (PE), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression and also implement Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), CBT-Anxiety, and CBT-Chronic Pain.
I often have clients tell me that therapy has not been effective for them in the past or were anxious to start. If this is you, I would encourage you to give therapy another try and reach out to me by phone or email. We will work together to reduce your symptoms and tackle your goals so that you can enjoy participating in your life again.
