Welcome! I understand that, since you are searching for a therapist, you are looking for answers and renewed hope in a difficult season of your life. I am here to help and look forward to meeting you. I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of issues and trauma including sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and grief and loss for about 20 years. I also value marriage and the family and want to help couples work through their issues and see them grow in their ability to communicate and resolve the conflicts that are bound to happen in relationships.
I love this quote from Leslie Vernick. "Marriage is a relationship where two people make promises and commitments. When one breaks his or her promise or is faithless, the relationship fractures. The good news is that the fracture can be healed through confession, personal repentance, and forgiveness."
I am currently seeing clients through the convenience of telehealth so you will have the advantage of not traveling to and from a physical office location. I consider it a privilege to partner with my clients in helping them to overcome in all of life's circumstances. I would characterize my practice as "Clinical Counseling with a Biblical Perspective".
