About
Stacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor that completed her Undergraduate studies at Siena Heights University with her Bachelor of Arts in Community Services. It was then that she started volunteering her time during her practicum at Ele's Place, a Bereavement Center for children, and started specializing in grief and loss work. Stacy went on to attain her Master of Arts in Counseling in 2009 from Spring Arbor University. She completed her internship at Carefree Medical in Lansing and Mason, MI. Stacy has continued on at Spring Arbor University as a Program Supervisor at the Lansing Site overseeing their Internship Cohort.
Stacy also worked in the prison system for 2 years and is a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CSOTS) and continues to work with clients on parole and probation with criminal sexual conduct related offenses. She also works and treats sexual recovery victims, which has really helped to give insight to the healing process.
Stacy is person-centered in her approach to therapy, believes that it's the therapeutic relationship between a therapist/client that determines the best outcome in treatment. Our mission is to become an organization focused on bringing awareness to mental health while providing counseling to high-risk populations.
