Choosing the right therapist can be challenging! I provide a free 30-min consultation for anyone interested in my services. I have experience handling many issues. I join in your process and help find the personal solutions that work best for you. I appreciate open clients as well as clients who may be ambivalent about change and need a nonjudgmental person to help sort options out to create positive, lasting changes. The therapeutic relationship is the essential building block for your success and my goal is to empower and challenge you to find your true, happy self.
I especially enjoy working with any trauma (abuse, accidents, neglect, etc.) and addictions as I am an EMDR II therapist. I find this technique powerful and extremely successful. I also specialize in couples/relationship (both monogamous and non-monogamous), anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and life transitions.
I am genuinely interested in helping others through their pain and am passionate about my work; I'd still be doing this if I won the lottery! I am gentle and caring in my words and presence. I invite comfort into my practice by allowing, and encouraging, you to be yourself. I will be honest about our process as we move forward.
