I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor in the greater Houston area who has worked in a variety of different arenas over the years within the field of social work. I have been married for over 20 years to my best friend and polar opposite which has increased my negotiation skills over the years. I am an animal lover and i specialize in helping individuals navigate through grief associated with the loss of a cherished pet. I live in the greater Houston area and I have had the opportunity to provide comfort and to empower individuals and help them identify their strengths and use them as steps towards towards recovery.
We all have strengths but it is often difficult for us to recognize those strengths for what they are (stepping stones to emotional freedom. I have spent over 15 years specializing in grief and Bereavement issues, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other iissues. In my practice, I utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, as well as traditional talk therapy
Throughout my career, I have placed a strong emphasis on the importance of trauma informed care as related to the individual’s that I serve.
