I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I will work collaboratively with you to help you process your experiences and find a way to reconnect with the things that are important to you. I work well with people who have been through a traumatic event or loss and are feeling stuck, don’t know how to move forward, and want to understand more about themselves and their mental health. I approach my clients with empathy and respect, and my goal is to provide a safe place for you to work through difficult experiences.
I am trained in therapies for trauma and prolonged grief. I also use an eclectic mix of therapies, and I work with clients who are experiencing depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and psychosis. I enjoy helping clients understand themselves and their mental health, approaching challenges with curiosity and an attitude of learning.
I am a Christian and, for clients who are interested, I provide evidence-based techniques from a Christian perspective. I've also had success working with clients from a wide variety of belief and spiritual backgrounds and have great respect for each person’s beliefs and experiences.
