Stacie Ashley-Williams, LCSW. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, social, communication challenges, unresolved trauma, and who have or may have autism spectrum disorder. My approach to treatment is to work in a collaborative manner, utilizing cognitive behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to assist clients with reducing symptoms and improving overall functioning.
My approach to treatment is to build rapport in a non-judgmental environment, where my clients feel empowered to make healthy adjustments to improve their functioning. My most common theoretical approaches to treatment are cognitive behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, which have both been empirically researched and proven effective.
I have been a therapist for over 30 years. I have always been interested in the mind and how it works. I was always the friend that would listen, and people would come to me for advice. I love helping and finding resources for others. I am driven to do this work, because "when you feel good, you can accomplish the desires of your heart".
