My clients come to me with emotional pain. They may not like themselves, feel alone or different, and worried/depressed. They may feel like they have no control or have lost the control that they used to have. They feel stuck or like they don't belong. We work together so that they leave with a sense of freedom and empowerment. They feel like they can be their true selves. They have hope. I am a certified EMDR therapist with 20 years of experience who works with adults to address past or ongoing trauma and distress. I offer both traditional individual sessions, as well as 3-hour-long intensive sessions to address needs in a faster timeline. Intensives are not covered by insurance.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to see their own value, though it can be hard to remember that when things have felt so bad.
