Stacey Tweedt, MA, LPCC
When our personal power is taken—or slowly given away—it creates a void. Many people try to fill that space by losing themselves in relationships, surrendering to others, or turning to habits that no longer serve them. What’s often missing is the ability to feel and honor our emotions fully. Unprocessed experiences tend to repeat until they are understood and integrated. Many men and women have been shamed away from their feelings through family dynamics, culture, or trauma. Reclaiming emotional truth is essential for healing and growth.
Together we will develop insight, identify/address these feelings, and implement skills that will foster growth. I use an integrated approach including; Interrelational Trauma Therapy, Adlerian, Schema Based, Solution Focused, Cognitive Processing, Somatic, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness and other skills based therapies/interventions to support healing.
My 16yrs of experience has led me to approach therapy with directness & a sense of humor. I’ve learned much about the human experience — no one is immune to suffering. Everyone experiences pain. We are resilient & we are all deserving of happiness. It would be my privilege to join you on your journey to find your happiness. A journey towards new awakenings.
