About
You’re feeling disconnected, either from yourself or others, lost, in pain, or just not like yourself. Maybe you’ve been here before, or this could be the first time you’re seeking therapy. Regardless, I warmly welcome you! I use mindfulness, narrative, parts work, and psychodynamic approaches blended with cognitive restructuring to support people with mood and thought disorders, difficulty with relationships, life transitions, grief/loss, and singular, chronic, or intergenerational trauma. Your body is also in therapy, so somatic, body-centered approaches to anxiety, depression, and other symptoms are also incorporated in my work.
As a therapist with decades of lived experience, I look to place people within the context of their environments and life stage. I practice from a trauma-informed and client-centered approach, which means that I look to you as the expert of your life. My approach is flexible, sometimes direct and active, and sometimes not, depending on what you need.
Everyone deserves a source of patience, understanding, and unconditional positive regard in their life. I work to be that person for my clients to impart real relief, insight, and joy in their lives. If you feel ready to take the next step toward increased self-awareness and peace, let's walk on that path together.
