I practice both flexibility and adaptability in building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and finding the evidenced-based approach that will best resonate with their experiences. I provide therapy and evaluation services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. With evaluations/assessment, I seek to help my client learn and understand their own strengths first and foremost. I enjoy helping families to modify their communication styles with one another in order to ensure that all parties feel heard and improve their relationships overall.
I have received training across various settings, including inpatient, PHP, public schools, residential treatment, and collegiate level disability services. These experiences have allowed me to better understand the diverse experiences of my clients. I often combine parts of DBT, CBT, ACT, and more in my work. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
I have a direct, straight-forward approach. Honesty and transparency are key components of my therapeutic style. I am also light-hearted by nature and love to laugh with my clients. I seek to build an environment where my clients know they are talking to a real person in the room and they can be their real selves as well.
