My name is Stacey Anderson and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in the state of North Carolina. Although I have extensive experience working with children and youth, I enjoy working via telehealth exclusively with adults. I have over 20 years of clinical practice experience. You will find me to be warm and personable while respecting the boundaries of our professional relationship. My approach is eclectic in order to meet my clients where they are.
My initial focus in therapy is to begin creating a safe space where my clients feel seen and heard without judgment. The therapy session will always be a space where the client can show up without a mask. I believe that building a trusting relationship with my clients is the foundation needed for them to do the work to reach their goals.
I am a social worker who is clinically trained to provide therapy. I chose social work because I wanted to advocate for those who needed a voice. My practice in the field led me to see how someone’s mental health could be a barrier to the life they most desire or the reason why they achieve it. Therapy helps me empower others to be their own superhero.
