Welcome! If you have made it this far, then I want to say: keep going. You deserve a safe place to grow and heal, in an environment that is completely different from the traditional talk-therapy. I created Stable Ground Therapy in order to bring Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy to those who are left out of the trauma and PTSD conversation: First Responders, LGBTQ+ community, as well as other communities. By partnering with a horse and a co-therapist like myself, you can start your journey towards healing on stable ground. In addition, I offer telehealth services for those seeking traditional talk-therapy services.
My name is Abby Crickmore and I offer a unique therapeutic approach called Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy utilizing the Human-Equine Alliance for Learning (HEAL). I have contracted with Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in order to bring this unique form of trauma-healing to those that may be under-represented.
