St. Clair Alexander is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He came to the profession with experience in pastoral care and counseling (1984 to 2004). He suspended his pastoral ministry to complete studies in marriage and family therapy; then earned his DPH in Families Studies (2004 to 2011). In 2006 he began a career in Marriage and family therapy working with Couples, families, and individuals.
I work with clients who are trying to work through the adjustment period in their marriage. Some who are addressing reoccuring problems in their personal life or marriage. Others who are dealing with personal, emotional, and or relational issues.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing interventions from different modalities. My approach is generally situation driven. For example, given a particular scenario, I can use solution focus, cognitive behavioral, emotional focus, or dialectic behavioral therapy.
