Announcement icon I am providing in-person sessions and telehealth sessions via doxy.me/kaygottrichlcpc. I have clients wear masks and follow CDC protocols.
I believe that I work well with clients that want change and want to feel better. I work best with clients who want a therapist who gives results - a therapist that can provide a safe, confidential, and provides evidence-based treatments that work. I will provide a nurturing, safe space where the client is validated and accepted where they are" ( struggling with rage, anger, sadness, anxiety or depression). Clients want results and I provide those results by providing the opportunity to learn about self, coping skills, and how to be more self-compassionate instead of getting stuck in self-shaming or self-criticism.
With adults, I utilize many evidence-based treatments such as: DBT, EFT CBT, Somatic therapy, EFT, and EMDR. Sandtray therapy is a treatment I use with all ages. Sandtray therapy allows the client, to access painful memories in the right side of the brain (where it is stored), and tell the story by using images, which is the miniatures the client selects.
I understand how anxiety provoking it can be to find a therapist. I have 20- years of experience, and I will provide you an opportunity for you to be supported, validated, and be listened to. I will provide an empathic presence, as well as, teach you skills so you can feel better faster. I will go at your pace.
