As a REAL sports psychologist, I have a unique practice in that I specialize in working with athletes who have the desire to take their game to the next level. Being a competitive athlete helps me relate to other competitive people in sports or business. My primary focus is on confidence building and the elimination of performance anxiety. I use a 3 tiered approach to training: Perspective Training, Mental Skills Training, and Applied Settings (if applicable at a sporting location). I am the only professional to offer that kind of travel service. I have also worked with Olympic Athletes (past and hopeful) and professional musicians.

I'm Katy Bridges and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). It is my passion to work with children, adolescents, and young adults. Emotional turmoil negatively impacts our daily lives. Often, young people struggle to perform, feel down on themselves, have behavior problems, or can't manage big emotions like fear and sadness. Anxiety, grief, conflict at home, social problems, and extracurricular commitments are other stressors children have to manage. This can lead to poor quality of life, behavior problems, distractions at school, etc. Growing up is HARD work! Young people are strong and can thrive with the right tools!

From what others can see you are picture perfect, but as for you, you are unable to recall when you felt like yourself. You can’t remember when it all started but you began to notice small changes within yourself such as your appetite, your mood, and your sleeping pattern. Maybe you have been fearful or have experienced feelings of hopelessness/helplessness as if your life is slowly spiraling out of control.

Moore, Ph.D., MAED., LMFT is a Clinical Professor, Associate Director for Clinical Training and Supervision in a Masters program in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia, Alabama, NY, IL, and credentialed for telehealth in Florida. Dr. Moore utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach when working with clients. Dr. Moore is direct and believes in addressing problems head on, to ensure optimal success, within a limited amount of time. He has degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, Virginia Tech University, Valdosta State University, and the University of Minnesota.

My current focus is on anxiety, depression, and trauma, but I am passionate about providing mental health services to a variety of populations aged 19 and older. I have special interests in psychotherapy for chronic illnesses, humor in counseling, and providing support for other professionals in helping fields.
