I understand the importance of finding a therapist that is a good fit for you and how challenging that search can feel. My primary focus as your therapist is that you feel understood and seen. I work to provide a safe space for you to feel heard, and a space where it is safe to challenge yourself. We will work within this safe space to make connections regarding how your past impacts your present life and with this awareness we will strive to find peace in the present.
I have experience working with a broad range of trauma in many different capacities. Currently I focus on working with clients who have experienced religious or spiritual trauma and/or harm. As a psychotherapist I utilize several different treatment modalities in my approach to working with trauma, one of these is EMDR.
I approach each client with an understanding that it is vitally important to address the way in which the systems we are a part of impact, cause and contribute to mental health struggles.
