I'm a nature-based therapist who works with those struggling with attachment wounds, grief, identity & spiritual emergencies/distress, sexuality, PTSD, self-worth, depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions. I am dedicated to anti-oppression work both personally & professionally. I hold a social justice lens in my work and don't shy away from acknowledging the profound psycho-spiritual impacts that the dominant culture has had on all of us, especially those who have been marginalized. I believe that mindfully addressing your contextual ecosystem is essential in truly getting to the root of why you're suffering.

Hearing people's stories is what I truly love to do. That is why I became a counselor. That is what I would want to spend my time doing even if it wasn't my career. Human beings are complex, that is true. And we are beautiful in endless ways, good when all is stripped away, and valuable beyond anything else in all of creation. I have always been pulled towards topics that many in society do not want to talk about – sex, death, money, religion, addiction, and many others. I have seen what happens to individuals when they are left to struggle with these topics alone. Some feel guilt, fear, anxiety, depression, or just an overall sense that they are not allowed to be who they really are. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe space for individuals or those in relationship to talk about these topics and feelings. I work with them to develop the tools to grow into being confident, unashamed, and authentically themselves.

I work primarily with individual adults, ages 18+ who find themselves in need of extra support, whether due to sudden life changes or longer term issues.

I am a somatic psychotherapist specializing in Womens health. The foundation of my approach to psychotherapy is in addressing the needs of the nervous system, helping clients to understand their own behavior and to improve their ability to live in their desired experience (less anxious, less depressed, more hopeful, etc.). In addition, my training provides the opportunity to address the distress of living in experiences that we never wanted to have and don't want to be the reality. I am dedicated to providing women with a safe environment to process trauma, grief, loss, fears and hopes as they manage the tasks of daily life.

I love to support parents in their gender-acceptance journey to be the support that their gender-diverse children (of any age) need. My clients want to make peace with their bodies, learn how to speak to themselves kindly, improve communication with others, free themselves from toxic cultural messages, and live their unique path of life.
