At its core, therapy is about supporting a life lived with awareness and choice, which is not only the best way to honor it, but also to meet the suffering that comes with it. Jung says: "I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become". In a way both are true; the family we're born into, and life's events impact us deeply, and we can learn and grow through our experiences, the good and the bad, as opposed to letting them trap or control us. We can all lead lives consciously and choicefully.

I counsel individuals who identify with one or more of the following three areas: 1) under-performance (professional, academic, social, athletic, etc.), 2) stress/overwhelm/burnout, and 3) relationship conflict and drama. These are not the usual depression, anxiety, or adjustment descriptions used by many clinicians, though my clients sometimes resonate with those experiences also. I utilize Transactional Analysis and Gestalt techniques along with methods from the fascinating field of Energy Psychology. I I do not do traditional therapy but take a holistic approach focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. I do Reiki energy healing combined with mindfulness techniques, meditation, and coping skills. In addittion, I share different essential oil combinations that have personally helped me and clients with physical issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD and others.
