Our counselors and psychologists work with adults, adolescents and children experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment and life transitions, relationship issues, family of origin issues and identity concerns. Our goal is to help clients address their individual concerns so that they can live full, engaged lives. In addition to counseling, we offer psychoeducational assessment and spiritual direction services.

Greg Letourneau has been licensed by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board since 1996. He has received his certification as a sex addictions therapist(CSAT), in 2006 and has become a clinical supervisor for the past 7 years. Greg has particular interest in working with family members struggling with trauma and addictions. He is EMDR trained to help assist clients recover and heal from their past traumatic experiences.

These difficulties may include identity, sexual orientation, grief, infidelity, attachment injuries, chronic conditions, addiction, or trauma. I work with families, partnerships, and people of ALL makeups from the most diverse to the most traditional.

I believe that we are all meant to be healed, restored, and whole in spirit, mind, and body. Many of life's hurts and challenges come through relationships and so does our healing. Therapy is a safe space to express emotions, receive guidance in making informed and healthy decisions, and move toward desired goals. I specialize in working with couples struggling with their relationship, communication, infidelity, sexual intimacy concerns, and overall connection. I also have a passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relational conflict, self-esteem/identity challenges, trauma & major life changes.

Deciding who you are going to trust with your information is also an important part of your new beginnings. I want to be supportive of your goals and work together in discovering how you can reach and surpass them. In my time away from being a therapist, the most important thing to me is my family - my wife and three young children - and spending as much of my time with them that I can. I enjoy hiking, fishing, cooking and reading when I have the time.

I use an eclectic counseling model of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, psycho-dynamic therapy, and pastoral soul care as a way to address the cognitive blocks that may be causing you biological, psychological, social, and/or spiritual distress. I engage the mind,body and soul in the therapeutic process.

Too often we are pressured to conform ourselves to narrow and ultimately unattainable standards of who we should be and how we should live. I believe in the infinite possibilities of each human being, I believe in the sacredness of each life, I believe in new beginnings, in the dreams and desires that we all carry to be loved and respected for who we are. I believe that the past does not determine our lives and that crises and conflicts are sources of transformation. These are some of the beliefs that guide my therapeutic practice. The strengthening of couple relationships, parenting skills, communication issues and conflict management have been areas in which I have worked personally and in groups in various cultural environments.

To provide services in the Mental Health and Substance Use field that will assist diverse populations with obtaining goals they have set for themselves in life. I’d like to do this while interacting with them in a group and/or individual setting. I feel that based on my educational experience, work experience and personal background, I could help individuals in the mental health and substances use concerns and want to achieve the success they desire for their lives.

I am IFS Level One trained and primarily use this psychospiritual modality in my practice. This involves taking a deep dive into the inner workings of our system, and being open to exploring mystical healing. I am also trained in IFS-informed EMDR, and sometimes blend these modalities for optimal results when working with complex trauma. I will be facilitating IFS groups in the spring of 2024.

My specialization as a Marriage Therapist is to help couples better walk-through life in create positive connective meaning in their relationship. Marriages are very difficult relationships and not one that is always easily talked about and protected into days world. My goal is to create safe space to allow the exploration of your thoughts and feelings and increase the ability to use evidenced based skills to help alleviate concerns and make your most important relationships feel safer and stronger.
