I work with clients who are managing a variety of psychological, emotional, mental health, family, relationship and spiritual challenges and struggles, providing assistance in learning how to best manage those struggles. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. In my role as a pastor, I also seek to provide faith-based therapy, helping clients understand that, "You can be saved AND have a therapist!" In addition, I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I have over 20 years of social work and therapy experience in a variety of settings. I use a person-centered approach to therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, principles of Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. In addition, I can implement biblical principles for those who are interested in faith-based counseling.
