In my opinion, change comes from gaining insight into and understanding about oneself. My treatment orientation is psychodynamic but I incorporate other treatment modalities as well, such as cognitive and behavioral therapies. I see individuals, couples, adolescents and children. I have had years of experience in crisis management, interpersonal relationship building, and coping skills support, all from a culturally-informed perspective. My culture does influence my perspective and responses in life so I hold people’s cultural identity as central to their therapy.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania is a private behavioral health clinic for Veterans and military family members. We provide confidential, personalized, and evidence-based care, at NO COST and with no long waits. We serve Veterans and the entire military family, including National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status, with a focus the post-9/11 era. We take time to learn your unique situation and tailor our care to best serve your individual needs, using the best available practices supported by research.
