Alyssa earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). After years as an educator and adolescent life coach, Alyssa pursued an education in therapeutic disciplines where she witnessed the vast needs of young people, families, and couples alike who were navigating relationships, trauma, mental health challenges, behavioral concerns, loss and change. Alyssa takes a holistic approach with her clients, specializing in adult and adolescent therapy, couples and families, and uses a client-centered approach informed by Internal Family Systems, and Adlerian Theory.

With over 11 years experience as a psychotherapist and as a graduate of Lancaster Bible College specializing in Elementary School Counseling, I am serving as a private practitioner since 2017 working with individuals, couples, children, adolescents and teens. Among my areas of expertise are Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), working with female victims of Domestic violence, and Mental Health disorders. I'm also a published author of a workbook titled Renaissance Program Empowering Abused Women One Step at a time.
