I am a creative, compassionate and versatile clinical psychologist with more than twenty years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children in individual, family and group psychotherapy. Relationship problems bring many individuals into treatment. I work actively in treatment with my clients to increase their self-awareness so that they can identify and overcome emotional blocks and self-image problems that negatively impact their relationships and impede their sense of happiness and personal satisfaction.

I center my work with the Hispanic population and conduct sessions in Spanish and English. In my practice, I serve adults, adolescents, children, families and couples for over 20 years. My professional orientation is client-centered and problem solving/solution focused – integrating cognitive and family systems approaches. I offer brief, intermittent and longer term treatments, individual, couples, and family therapy. Referral problems typically include mood disorders, relationship, parenting, family, adolescent behavior and adjustment problems, trauma and abuse issues, anxiety disorders, loss and bereavement and marital issues and post-divorce adjustment.
