My work emphasizes Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR and the integrated use of art, yoga and meditation skills to build confidence, self-esteem, personal insight and inspiration. I have found that these approaches have proven highly effective in treating long-standing issues and result in positive treatment outcomes.

Adolescent Mixed Eating Disorder Support Group Weekly groups provide and safe environment for teens to explore and express both unique and shared feelings. Coping techniques are taught and support is provided to allow participants to better manage the challenges of adolescense. A focus on symptom reduction is emphasized.

Adolescent Art Therapy: Hour long sessions using drawing, painting, beading, poetry, work with clay and collage encourage and support participants to connect with and express thoughts and feelings in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. As noted by the American Art Therapy Association art therapy is "based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self- esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight."
