I have been working with clients ages 10 to 90 for over 35 years. I offer a very supportive, caring approach with a great deal of feedback and coaching. At the same time the focus is to help individuals develop positive self-esteem, reduce stress and develop good coping skills.The work I do is completely client-centered in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. While I am not in network with many insurance plans I try not to let money get in the way, and happily work out fees that are affordable, or take out of network plans.
My specialties include working with individuals and couples who are experiencing anxiety, stress, mood disorders, grief, depression, issues of self-esteem, improving communication skills and developing positive parenting skills. I also run various groups at different times of the year.
Therapy does not have to be long term to be effective. In my experience, brief therapy can be extremely beneficial for many clients. For others, longer term treatment may be what you are looking for.
